MUSIC IS BUSINESS/DO YOUR RESEARCH with YOUNG CHRIS THE ARTIST

MEET YOUNG CHRIS THE ARTIST:

I’m an on-the-rise artist(YoungChrisTheArtist) from Northeast D.C., I got into music around the age of 8, and my uncle Troy Williams was a huge inspiration to my musical journey being as though he was an engineer & producer he produced for artists like Biggie Smalls, Heavy D, LL Cool J & many more.

He passed in 2015 but that was also my drive to keep going in music as well. Growing up in northeast wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best either. The part of northeast, I grew up in was rough & drug heavy but I never let my environment distract me from doing what I feel I was destined to do.

I sometimes include my rough neighborhood in my music cause I feel as though I’m still connected there even though I no longer live there. I also feel as though you all should keep an ear out for me. Coming off the release
of my 2nd EP called “Sorry 4 The Hold Up”, & My Second Album Called “Stories Of A Broken Heart”

I’ve had shows all around the DC area in almost every venue you can think of.

I also have a great ability to capture a crowd’s attention while I’m on stage.

In early 2018, I moved to Florida to chase my dream of music. I was picked up by a label called blue dream music group but everything didn’t work out as it was supposed to.
